Online Degree Programs:
Fire Science and Emergency Management
- MS in Fire and Emergency Services—Designed for students with a bachelor's degree from a regionally or nationally accredited college or university who are practicing emergency services professionals. Consider this program if you seek to develop skills and techniques in the areas of strategic planning, leadership, financial administration, and emergency services management.
- BS in Fire Science—Builds on the foundational knowledge provided at the associate’s degree level by exploring technical, legal, and social aspects of arson, the application of technology to firefighting, the psychological effects of fire dynamics, and more. It is modeled on the Fire and Emergency Services Higher Education (FESHE) national curriculum.
- BS in Fire and Emergency Management—Designed for those emergency services personnel who want to increase their administrative and management knowledge as well as occupational and life safety awareness. Graduates could pursue managerial positions and leadership roles in fire and emergency services organizations, emergency medical service, and emergency preparedness agencies.
- AAS in Fire Science—Modeled on the Fire and Emergency Services Higher Education (FESHE) national curriculum and is designed to provide students with foundational knowledge in firefighter safety, building codes, fire prevention, code inspection, and firefighting strategy and tactics.
Public Administration and Policy
- Master of Public Administration (MPA)— For practicing or aspiring administrators in a public sector, nonprofit, or private organization who would like to develop the skills and techniques needed to pursue leadership positions in public administration.
- BS in Public Administration and Policy — Students in this program study to gain knowledge and understanding of the processes of policy development and implementation through direct government action as well as public and private interaction.
- AAS in Public Administration — For those interested in studying the structure and processes of the government and the formation of public policy.
